MOSQUES ARE A NEED AND A RESPONSIBILITY.. HOW WE CAN DEVELOP THEM?

The texts of the book and the Sunnah pretended to defend the goal of preserving religion in the purposes of the noble Sharia, and the observer of the reality of the Islamic presence in Europe and the West in general finds clearly that the establishment of mosques is a religious necessity without doubt,This is due to the clarity of the multiple differences between the great role that mosques play in the lives of Muslims in the West, and the role of mosques in the lives of Muslims within Islamic societies, with the exception of some countries in Eastern Europe or others with a high Muslim population, and yet they live as a minority in some cases.

In spite of the existence of educational incubators and educational and cultural centers that began to spread on the European scene two decades ago, mosques remain the main center in the life of Muslims here.

However, many of the current challenges threaten the fulfillment of its desired mission, and what some Muslims do not realize is that mosques in the Islamic world are part of a system that plays a role in the lives of Muslims, crowding out or cooperating with many other institutions, in addition to the community system based on values, morals and customs that make Muslims In a mold that gives him the opportunity to return to religion if he is strayed or lost. Its continuation is the responsibility of society and the state, and it is still owned. There are – often – rented mosques that can be closed when a financial crisis occurs, or the owner of the building wants to demobilize its residents. As for here, the matter is completely different, and the Muslim has only to feel that responsibility. Here in Germany, a number of mosques have been closed due to the difficulty of paying the rent, and there is no condolence for those who say: The house has a Lord that protects it.

| Unprecedented challenges

Whoever lived in Europe during the nineties did not know in his mind that these donations to mosques from the Gulf countries would be cut off someday, and that they were not only interrupted, but there is a complete blockade and drying up of the sources of financial support, and we are not hidden from the campaigns of intimidation, distortion and the continuous attacks on mosques in Germany and some European countries, all of this leads to restrictions on mosques, those in charge of them and their supporters.

| The financial future of mosques

Whoever lived in Europe during the nineties did not know in his mind that these donations to mosques from the Gulf countries would be cut off someday, and that they were not only interrupted, but there is a complete blockade and drying up of the sources of financial support, and we are not hidden from the campaigns of intimidation, distortion and the continuous attacks on mosques in Germany and some European countries, all of this leads to restrictions on mosques, those in charge of them and their supporters.

1- People of trust are the source of good

Yes, when people put their trust in a group of individuals, they will give generously, and everyone has a key. We must communicate with good people through individuals who gain their trust.

2- Full transparency with members of the General Assembly and philanthropists

We believe that the mosques send to the association members a monthly report on the educational, advocacy, educational and social programs that the mosque is carrying out so that people can see the efforts made and be partners in the sheep and the fine, as well as direct meetings with the mosque audience, volunteers and donors and present those reports along with periodic financial reports.

3- Smart projects
A good idea is to provide the necessary support for it, and whenever the idea touches the needs of Muslims and the future of their children, it is worthy of care and attention. If you want to hold sessions, conferences, camps or trips for young people, you will find the supporters without hardship as mentioned, what matters to us is the quality of the idea, the trust and wisdom of those who are qualified to bear it and faith Out and move for it.

4- Debt Project
It is a long and deeply explored matter, but it is the longest-lived tributary and the most established, developed and supportive of Islamic institutions in the West, and appropriate endowment projects must be considered, and they must be subject to planning and scrutiny in order to bear fruit.

5- Zakat funds
Despite the presence of fatwas permissible and desiring to pay zakat money in mosques in the West, as stated in the remarkable book “The jurisprudence of Zakat” by the scholar Imam al-Qaradawi, because it is included in a bank “and for God’s sake,” yet the strength of interaction with it is still weak, because it depends on awareness of the priorities of spending and the budget. Among the duties, hence it is the mission of the preachers to rationalize the consumption of money and efforts of the Muslims of the West in supporting and strengthening their presence and institutions. I do not mean by any means that the Muslims of the West give up their relief efforts to the afflicted around the world, both Muslims and non-Muslims, but it is only the balance.

6- The sincerity of the preacher is the source of goodness
Truthfulness is not combined in a project but God has written for him to reconcile and accept in the hearts of creation. My brother, do not pay much attention to capabilities, talents, making relationships, and other reasons, because if the condition of sincerity and good faith in God Almighty and invocation to Him and the purity of hearts among the workers fails, effort will not be effective, for divine help depends on the integrity of intent and effort, and every mosque has stories in its construction that are evident in them. The divine kindness, and perhaps those in charge of the Islamic institutions will mention what astonishes the minds, and we are lucky to single them out with an article, God willing.

| What are western Muslims waiting for from mosques?

The generations that trampled their feet on the land of Europe, America, Canada and Australia have made strenuous efforts. They have embarked on the construction of mosques and cut off the surplus of their children to build mosques that God has permitted to be raised. And I think that the noble reader will now attend pictures of those who knew them and saw their hearts attached to the houses of God.

I did not understand the words of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him about the seven whom God will shade in his shadow on the day there is no shadow but his shadow, including: “A man of his heart hangs in the mosques” until I saw them with my own eyes and lived with them for months and years, and I enraged them with this renewed longing in their hearts for the mosque and their concern for it as they were keen on their little ones. The generation has performed and fulfilled a lot. May God reward them well for what they did. There is no doubt that the performance of mosques on the European scene has significantly improved in form and content, so many mosques moved from rent to ownership, and the performance of administrations developed in a good way, and mosques promoted the establishment of Saturday and Sunday schools and concerned with the scientific and educational training of teachers, and European institutions established Arabic language curricula that take into account the privacy of the child born in Europe and the West in general.

| What are the hopes held on the mosques currently?

We still have great hopes in achieving the mosque’s mission in the West and fulfilling its role in a manner that will repeat its first biography on the day the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, built his mosque to be a place for building generations in faith, scientific, educational, social, cultural and political constructs, in which men and women participate.

We will refer to three basic duties:
Take care of the new generation
Youth attendance
